Hi Everyone, Zen here! I hope you like my selfie! I love curling up in Mom’s recliner. And the end table* is a great place to rest my chin.
*Mom wanted me to tell you that she is particularly fond of this end table. Why would anyone be fond of a piece of furniture I asked her. She told me “because, my love, your sweet human Daddy built it himself out of walnut and oak that he got from his parents’ house back when we were newlyweds. And, he used the table saw that my father gave him just because.”
Well, that’s it for me today. Hope you like my selfie! Zoey was sound asleep on the floor in front of the couch. Maybe she will do the Sunday Selfie next week.

We are only now able to visit/comment (having set up a WP account) but have always loved your blog, your pups (those who came before … and we mourned and missed them). Zen is handsome … and how precious to have a handmade (with love) family piece in your home, they mean so much … always think, paraphrasing of what that table “has seen and heard” over the years.

It is kind of frustrating not being able to comment at times – I have had the same problem with Google’s blogging app, even though I have three gmail email accounts (one was hubby’s.) Hubby – with help from my Dad – also made several other pieces of furniture that I will always treasure. Zen is my love, my rock. Ducky knew exactly what I would need and made sure I got it all wrapped up in my boy. And she and Bogie sent Zoey for both of us to love and adore, the way she and I loved our Bogie.
Give June lots of belly rubs for me!
