It’s Time For A Change

I’ve never taken to change well. My motto is usually similar to Scarlett O’Hara’s: “after all, tomorrow is another day!”

No, I’m not making changes to the blog again.

This time it’s a change in the dogs’ diet. Both dogs. At the same time. YIKES! For someone who doesn’t like change, this is drastic! But our vet approved the change once I told him why I feel it’s necessary, so I’m okay with it.

Anyway, the new food is scheduled to arrive on Wednesday. Wish us luck with the transition. We’ll be back in two or three weeks to let you know how it went – or is still going – and then we’ll tell you more about why we had to change. And we’ll reveal the name of the new food.

Have a Happy Thanksgiving, whether you live in the USA or not. It’s a day of giving thanks, so count your blessings and SMILE. 😊

Thanks!! And a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, as well! Once I see that the transition is going smoothly, I will let everyone know what we switched to…I don’t want to jinx it. 😊

Food changes are the easiest. I’m always looking for a better food for the girls that is also affordable and something I don’t need to cook or buy a huge freezer to keep it in. Hope your new food works for you.

Food changes in this house are scary because of the girls’ super-sensitive tummies. Thankfully, we do have the freezer space, and I don’t have to do the cooking. 😁

Thanks Pamela! The hardest part, I think, will be managing hubby’s “need” to give the girls too much of the wrong people-food treats. He means well – he loves them both dearly – but sometimes his dementia just doesn’t allow him to use his reasoning powers.

Well, you’ve got me curious now! I’m beginning to transition Rudy to Dr Harvey’s Paradigm because of his diabetes. Hope this goes well for all of us!

I hope so, too, Sue! Shadow’s digestive issues are a challenge at times – mostly because of hubby giving her stuff she shouldn’t be eating – I can’t even begin to imagine what a challenge it must be to manage Rudy’s diabetes. All the best to both of you. ❀️
