Zen is scheduled for his neuter surgery (and a dental cleaning) on Wednesday, so Zoey will be spending his week-long recuperation period at their Grandpa’s house. I am sooooo going to miss seeing these snuggle sessions!! 🥲

😍 Thanks, from both of us! I have complete confidence in our vet, so we’ll both be fine. I’ll just be missing my “baby girl” once I leave her with their “Grandpa”.

Prayers for an easy surgery and quick recovery from all of us. They are both so, so adorable.

Thank you! I’m sure the surgery will go well – the vet is the same one took care of Shadow in her later years as well as Ducky and Bogie before things went sour at our former vet’s place. I have full confidence in him.

All best wishes to both the Zen kids. While I know it’s hard when they’re away, enjoy some quiet time.

Well, there IS one thing I won’t miss – having to wipe water up off the kitchen floor EVERY time Zoey takes a drink from the water bowl. I told my brother yesterday that I was going to replace the water bowl with a kiddie pool for her to drink out of. 🤪

Isn’t he young for a dental? Hoping all is ok! You are lucky that the neutering is only a week recovery…..Levi’s was 14 days of hell…pure hell lol. My husband had to carry him up and down the 12 steps in our building every time he had to go to the bathroom. Keeping him still/quiet was a HUGE challenge! Sending POTP for a smooth procedure and seamless recovery!

He may be a bit young for a dental BUT sometimes he seems to have trouble with crunchy treats. He doesn’t seem to be in any pain, so I’m not overly concerned. I just want the vet to check to be sure we don’t miss any possible trouble brewing. And doing it while he’s “under” for the neutering will save time and money.
As to Levi, I’m sure sorry those two weeks were so difficult! Zen is an active boy, so I’ll have to keep him busy in the house somehow. As for his nature calls, I’m going to be using two leashes, like Mel does/used to do with Zane. And I’ll try to make sure the one neighbor’s dog is inside.
