When I was finished taking my shower and getting dressed this morning, this is how I found Shadow…
My senior baby with the arthritis in both wrists and elbows. I was so surprised to find her on the bed that I almost forgot to take the picture. And then I decided I didn’t like the way it came out, so I took this one…
So this is what happens when I forget to lean the gate back against the bedroom doorway.
Surprise. Ducky didn’t get snarky with Shadow when she walked past the crate. Or if she did, it didn’t bother Shadow like it normally does.

I found Sampson on the big bed Tuesday night when I came out of the shower. It wouldn’t bother me so much if he’d used the stairs at the end of the bed, but I KNOW he does not. The hard part now is keeping him quiet. LOL
Sweet Shadow, she deserves some good bed time.

Shadow wouldn’t use them either, even if I had room for them. Neither would Callie. She used to jump up on the bed during bedtime thunderstorms and then sort of ease herself off the bed slowly in the morning.

We have stairs up to our bed, and it took us MONTHS to get Sheba to finally use them. In fact, I had given up on it when all of the sudden one day she just strolled right up them!
Shadow looks SO cozy there!
