I’m horrible with diagnostics (i.e. have no clue), usually having no clue what’s going on, just that stuff doesn’t seem right. I thought I’d be so smart add the WP app to my phone a few days ago. Egad, what a colossal mistake that was. Oy
Well, I’m no wiz either – the app itself told me the connection might be broken – so don’t feel too bad. So far, everything seems okay on the iPad. Just the phone app seems effed-up. I might just disconnect it again and reconnect it in the morning. Have a good night! Give Sam a big kiss from my girls. ππ
Reconnected but still having the same problem. The iPad app seems unaffected, but I’m not sure what to do at this point. I think I’ll just use the laptop downstairs – or the iPad – to write and publish my posts and see what happens with the phone app. It’s letting me write comments. It’s just not syncing older posts on MyGoldenLife. If I get a chance later, I might call or email WP support.
Well, this morning there was an update on the app so it froze and then crashed – 3 times. The 3rd time I said “FU”, and deleted the app. I texted with a friend for a while and then re-installed the app (and update). Everything seems to be working right now. Keep your fingers crossed!
So far, so good. The post I published this afternoon was mostly done in the phone app. I got on the iPad to do the links to the blog hop and to hit “publish”, but only because the phone screen is too small to be much use at that point. π
I’m so glad other people have that issue. I swear, for a phone that’s too big to fit in any pocket, I sure as heck can’t read the damn screen very easily! α¦
I hope they’re not.

It seems to be a “broken connection” in the phone app. I don’t think the iPad app or my WP files have been effected.

That’s pretty much what I’ve done. Good luck and let me know if there’s anything I can do to help. β€
