Over the last few weeks, Bogie and I have started a morning routine. A must-have for both of us.
Every morning after Bogie, Ducky and I come in from their first bathroom break of the day – and after I make the coffee and pour my first mug – I find Bogie waiting for me in the living room. He wants his morning cuddle/snuggle session with mama.
Bogie loves his Daddy, too; but since I’m the one who normally takes him (and Ducky) out first thing, I’m the one who’s blessed with this boy’s morning kisses. ❤️
Just to prove Bogie loves his Daddy too, here’s a photo I took a few minutes ago….
It’s hard for Bogie to get up in the chair with hubby because hubby takes up more space than I do; but they manage long enough for me to get a photo.

Forgot to mention – Annabell can’t take him out so we miss our morning walk and breakfast together. However, he has his own ” Personal Door” so he can use his doggy door to get in and out as he needs and Annabell leaves her room door open so he can wander in during the night and he is not alone,

Lovely photographs. I am currently some 300 miles away from home at the moment. All being well, I should be home tonight. I miss Annabell and I miss Benji. Annabell tells me that everytime he hears a noise he goes to the door, then walks away to go back to the room and wait. The next noise could well be daddy.. Poor wee thing…

No, Bogie’s father was Duke; but if I remember correctly, Chuck told me that River is Duke’s father. So, that would make Bogie Charlie’s nephew. How’s that for complicated? 😳

He really is! And a hugger! I just have to teach him when it’s okay to hug and when it isn’t so he doesn’t knock us over. 🙄

Know just what you mean. That kind of enthusiasm can be a challenge. I need to monitor Norman when I first come inside from being out. He’s soooo big and soooo excited to see me. One of these days I’m gonna end up on my keister. LOL

Levi and I do our “cuddle time” in the evening. (Your photos are darling!!) Unfortunately I haven’t been able to take walks with him since July 9th because I fractured my ankle. I miss our morning walks soooooo much! It was special bonding time for sure! Bogie is such a cutie!!
