Zoey came into her first season some time yesterday; so technically speaking she’s not a “baby” any more. But she will always be MY baby. She was feeling a bit tired this morning, so she snuggled up to me while I drank my first cup of coffee.
Of course Zen’s butt had to photobomb the sweetness, but that’s okay. ππΎ
Oh, now she’s a pretty young LADY!

Aww, baby girl is growing up! Good luck getting through the cycle. I don’t envy you (or her). π

Bless her heart, she’s still sweet as can be, just restless and a little cranky with Zen at times. And – according to the vet – we have another (approximately) 8-12 days of it to deal with.

Yeah, my daughter had two Irish Wolfhounds who weren’t spayed and it was hormones galore. Always a challenge to help them through it. Do you plan to breed her? Hope it goes easy on you both.

No, no offspring in Zoey’s future. Raising her and Zen is my limit. Thank goodness Zen’s reproduction capacity is zero, zilch, nada, cuz his hormones certainly don’t seem to have diminished yet.
